The group experience provides a dynamic, accelerated healing process by engaging members with similar histories in a safe and supported environment who share their experiences to create their personal continuums of healing.
In group work you have the opportunity to take part in stimulating interventions, get and give feedback, and explore new behaviours and responses in an encouraging context.
Our groups contain elements that feel like family and community experiences. In this safe peer context, a member can address issues created by past experiences in their families and break through barriers in order to find a deeper sense of freedom. Societal and cultural issues can also be addressed which allows members to respond to their communities in new and different ways.
These groups also allow for members to provide support to each other both in the form of understanding and empathy as well as support around gentle confrontation allowing members to experience conflict in a positive manner and to see themselves through the eyes of others.
